Welcome to The Shops at Fabian House
located in Old Town Bowie
Since, the mid-1970s, visitors have enjoyed The Shops at Fabian House in historic Old Town Bowie, Maryland. We are located in a large lovely building which originally served as the Joffe Family General Store and residence from the late 1800's through mid 1900's.
The Shops are open with new faces and an energized focus. Our collection includes fine antiques, quality original art from local artists, the area's largest collection of traditional Polish Pottery, a full room of primitive-style furnishings, architectural salvage pieces, and an ever-changing array of unique and eclectic home furnishings. Shop managers Bob Schaefer and Ruth Davis are committed to a relentless search for intriguing home accessories. We want your every visit to be a delightful experience!
Located in what was the kitchen of the Joffe family residence, The Fabian House Cafe serves a nice selection of healthy meals and snacks (menu here), as well as delicious Green Mountain Coffee. We are vegetarian friendly! Also, take a look at the wonderful literary choices offered by Fabian Fine Books. See you at the Cafe! |
